Tumbleweed Still Life- Polaroid vintage camera
Hi Friends,
Years back I had a short photo session with the historic camera called the Polaroid 20x24 camera. There are only 4-6 of these vintage cameras in the world and one of them was coming to Seattle so I was lucky enough to get to work with it. I quickly had to figure out what I was going to shoot and within a couple hours I put together some props at my ranch and dropve to Seattle. I decided to go with Tumbleweeds, farm objects, a self-portrait of my snake skin boots with a fabric background.
The negative / film / orginal is 20in x 24in! Here area a some of the originals. I'm offering limited edition reproduction print series of these on the website.
The camera came with an operator so the it did not get damaged in any way trying to figure out how to use it or move it. I would love another session to add to my series, maybe a roadtrip to the city where it lives full time.
