Meet Jules
Some collections begin with a destination.
Mine began with a camera in my hand at seven years old...
Photography has taken me around the world, but the places that continue to shape my work are the ones that first shaped me. A childhood spent in the Pacific Northwest, early winters in Sun Valley, days on horseback, miles of open road, coastal escapes, and iconic destinations all became part of the way I see the world long before they became photographs.
I earned a degree from the Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara with plans to build a career as a fashion photographer in Manhattan. Then life took an unexpected turn. A last-minute ski trip back to Sun Valley...and a Rodeo Queen crown won on a dare and changed everything. Instead of New York, I stayed in the West, documenting rodeo queens, the people, traditions, and landscapes that would become the foundation of my first fine art collections.
Over the past four decades, my work has evolved alongside my life. From the American West and Mountain Chic to desert modern architecture, coastal living, horseback safari in Africa, and luxury destinations around the world, every collection reflects places I've experienced, returned to, and come to know deeply.
Whether I'm photographing a quiet ski morning, a weathered neon sign, a line of palms, or the rhythm of the ocean, my goal is always the same: to create timeless photographs that bring a sense of place, story, and style into the homes of collectors.
Welcome to my world...Where Story Meets Style.
