Making of a dream

Do you have a longing to just jump in a car and go , somewhere? Not defined or planned? There is something about driving on a remote road that for me feels like a real freedom card. The unknown, what is at the end, who has traveled there, the solitude. "Road north" is a photograph in my series that happeded on a roadtrip in one of my favorite stretches of the west, Camas County, Idaho. I have passed this road before but finally stopped on below zero day one winter and the road just had that super cool frosty look, perfect for the shot I had always wanted.
