Jules Frazier Photography in The Horse Whisperer Film and Posters

In 1998, my Western photography became part of The Horse Whisperer, the Robert Redford film starring Kristin Scott Thomas.

One of my horse photographs was selected as the signature image for the film’s promotional campaign, appearing on posters and advertising. Another photograph, featuring a cowboy riding across the prairie at sunset, appeared in the film itself.

In the scene, Kristin Scott Thomas’s character, Annie MacLean, is searching through a magazine for information about the horse whisperer. The photograph featured in the article is mine.

Seeing my photography become part of both the visual campaign and the film itself remains a memorable intersection of my commercial and fine art work photographing the American West.

A true honor!
