Paia sits on Maui's North Shore - a small town with salt in the air and palms that grow like they mean it. This image was made looking straight up into the canopy, where fronds fan out against open sky in deep, saturated greens. It's tropical without being a cliché. Botanical without being quiet.

The upward perspective gives it scale and a sense of immersion - you're not observing the palms from a distance, you're standing underneath them. That quality makes it particularly strong at larger sizes, where the color and geometry of the fronds can fully do their work.
