Two Tee Pees-Cheyenne-Wyoming
I was at the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo in 1988, shooting on a large square format Hasselblad camera, when these two teepees stopped me. The light was strong mid-day sun, the scene quiet against the noise of the rodeo behind me. Symmetrical, still, and dreamlike, like something between memory and ceremony.
Shot on film, the blue tones are from a darkroom process called cross-processed which makes the colors go monochromatic and blue tone. The image has a timeless quality that feels more like a painting than a photograph.

- All works are printed to order. Normal turn around time is 5–14 business days, plus shipping time, 1-2 weeks depending on where you live in the US.

- Framed prints larger than 60 inches require custom crating and additional shipping charges.
